Who is responsible

Korab Trading is operated by Konstantinos Foulatsiklidis, Kria Vrisi, Greece, who is the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Registration details will be published here once the company is incorporated.

What we collect

From the enquiry form. Your name, company, email address, country, whether you are a buyer or a producer, your message, and a phone number if you choose to give one.

From correspondence. Whatever you send us by email, and our replies.

From checking counterparties. Before we represent a producer or introduce a buyer, we verify business information — company registration, VAT status, certification, and the name and role of the person authorised to act. Most of this is company data rather than personal data, but some of it identifies individuals.

We do not collect anything through this website automatically. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no embedded video, and no fonts or scripts loaded from anyone else's server. Nothing on this site follows you.

Why, and on what basis

We do not use your details for marketing and we do not run a mailing list.

Who else sees it

Producers we represent. This is the important one. If you contact us as a buyer and we take the enquiry forward, we pass your name, company, country and requirement to the producer who makes the product, because they are the ones who will contract with you. We tell you who before we do it. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will stop there.

Our service providers. Netlify, which hosts this site and receives form submissions, and Zoho, which provides our email. They process data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell data, and we do not share it with anyone else unless a law or a court requires it.

Where it goes

Our email runs on Zoho's European data centre, so correspondence stays within the EEA. Netlify is a United States company, so form submissions are processed outside the EEA under the safeguards in their data processing agreement, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

If you would prefer your details did not leave the EEA, email us directly instead of using the form. Both reach the same inbox.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, ask for it in a portable format, or object to processing we base on legitimate interests. Write to info@korabtrading.com and we will answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to a supervisory authority. In Greece that is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, dpa.gr. You may also complain to the authority in the country where you live or work.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting people we already deal with will be notified by email.
